I am currently an assistant adjunt professor of public relations in the Communications Department at St. John’s University in Queens, New York. During my seven years of teaching, course I have taught include: Public Relations Writing, Public Relations Strategy and Tactics, Special Event Publicity and Public Relations Portfolio Seminar.
In addition, I have worked for over 15 years in the fields of public relations, marketing and advertising. While working on the agency side, my clients ranged from European luxury goods, to household retail goods and to regional utility companies. During my time on the client side as an account executive for a local utility company, I managed the day to day advertising and public relations of the company’s multifamily and commercial segments.
I also find great joy in serving as a board member of NYC Mentors, an organization that helps high-achieving under-served middle school students by pairing them with an experienced high school mentor that will prepare and guide them through the NYC high school application process.

Additionally, I am a licensed Relator and hold licenses in life, accident and health insurance in New York State. I live on Long Island with my husband and two sons.
